What We Do:

Creative Veins Performing Arts Studio is located in Jacksonville, Florida just 1.5 blocks up from the historic Florida Theater in the heart of downtown Jacksonville.  We offer a wide variety of classes, workshops, and services for adults, kids, and teens including acting and improv classes, stand-up comedy sessions, screenwriting workshops, private acting coaching, taping services, and more! No matter your experience level or goals, there's truly something for everyone! Other services include audition preparation for actors who are prepping for an upcoming film, television, or commercial audition or students who are auditioning to be accepted into an arts school or magnet program. We also offer team building classes for businesses and corporations that help boost confidence and morale, encourages co-workers to get to know each other, and as a result, helps to build a stronger, cohesive workplace team. Who We Are:

In early 2014, Chicago Actor, Improviser and Comedian Keary and Florida-based Actor, Improvisor and Writer Rebecca were producing a film in Atlanta. When faced with escalating location and studio costs, Rebecca suggested that they move the production to her hometown of Jacksonville. This decision saved the production, but created a new and unexpected difficulty; finding adequately trained talent to bring their script to life. They decided to move forward with casting hoping that if they could just find hard-working and dedicated people, they could still complete the feature film as planned. It took some patience and coaching, but their gamble paid off and the film was completed! While reflecting on their experiences and the advantages of working in Jacksonville (lower production costs and a short drive to all of the major Television and Film production hubs in the South East’s now booming market), their next step was a no-brainer; create a studio where students can pursue their performing arts passions in acting, comedy, improv, and screenwriting and start creating some amazing productions right here in Jacksonville! The city of Jacksonville is full of hardworking, dedicated, talented and passionate people; all they need is the right professional training. From this, Creative Veins Performing Arts Studio was born. As working, agency-represented professionals, we know that being "good enough" isn't actually good enough. We’re passionate about being the best we can be and helping others do the same; not just in Jacksonville, but everywhere! Huge Hollywood films, hit television shows, big-brand commercials, and world-class comedy are happening all around us and it should be happening in our city, too! We believe Jacksonville is a world-class city filled with world-class talent; they just don’t know it yet. We know it because we’ve seen it firsthand and continue to see it in each new class and production. Our approach is simple; elevate the standard by offering competitive training at the highest professional level.
