Jacksonvile Actng Classes

The intro to acting class includes all four classes, a graduation certificate, and a video copy of your in-class commercial and audition slate for a total cost of 125.

 

This class is a formal introduction to acting and is perfect for aspiring actors with little to no experience or anyone interested in having fun, making new friends, building confidence, strengthening communication/public speaking skills and increasing their emotional intelligence.

In our 4-Week Class, you will:

  •  Be Introduced to three of the most recognized and proven acting techniques: Meisner, Strasberg, & Practical Aesthetics 

  • Learn the business side of acting: What's a head shot, slate, reel, self-tape, call back, & talent agent?

  • How can I start getting jobs without an agent? What do I need?

  • What types of acting roles can I book based on my look, experience, and being located in NE Florida?                                                  

  • Learn how to read/analyze a commercial, television and film script 

  • Learn how to develop characters, make choices, & bring a script to life

  • Practice taping in front of the camera in real mock auditions

  • Learn proper auditioning etiquette and how to create an audition slate 

  • Learn how to audition in person and with a self-tape audition

  • Learn the steps to creating an actors reel & an acting resume

  • Learn what to do now so you can start your acting career and break into the Southeast region's film, commercial, print, and television market so you can start auditioning and working today!
     

Classes are structured to be smaller in size for more individualized attention so each student has the very best chance of success. Come learn and train with a proven school whose faculty is real, working, agency-represented talent that are currently working in real television, film, and commercial productions with credits to their name with Paramount Pictures, Disney, Universal Studios, Netflix, Oxygen Network, USA, Nat Geo, Adult Swim, Starz, Savannah College of Art & Design, A&E, Lifetime, FSU College of Motion Picture Arts, The CW, Virgin Holidays SCAD, Magari Theatre Company, and Jump Goat Media.
